The “PC (Parent Church) Overview” is a FREE one-day training seminar/workshop that will be held at the Baptist Mission Resource Center in Columbia, Maryland, on Saturday, July 26th, from 9:30am to 4:30pm. There we hope to help you learn:
- Why churches need to parent new churches
- The answers to common objections raised in your church
- An overview of the process for “giving birth” to a new church
- Dealing with timing issues
- Partners who are available to help you in the process
In addition, every church represented will receive a “take away” book, which will give you more information to assist you on the journey in the days ahead.
Our objective is both to inform you and to answer the questions and concerns you need addressed before you can determine whether this is something your church should implement in the near future. While this training event is introductory in nature, and not a substitute for our comprehensive 2-day training event for churches already committed to parenting a new church (held later this year), it is a great way to “put your foot in the water” without any obligation on your part.
If you have any questions please contact Misty Pearson at (800) 466-5290, ext. 222 or at mpearson@bcmd.org.
This is a FREE event but we are asking you to register so that we have a proper count in order for us to order lunches and have materials for everyone! To register click the button below:
