Since coming to Fairview, I directed all areas of church worship, ministry, and management. In addition to ministering in the pulpit, I guided the church in developing a comprehensive set of by-laws to protect its interests. I also led in studies of The Baptist Faith and Message, “A Deacon Ministry that Works”, “People Sharing Jesus”, “How To Share Your Faith Without an Argument”, and initiated the F.A.I.T.H. Sunday School Evangelism Strategy.

As pastor of this church, I led in all areas of church worship, ministry, and management. In addition to ministering in the pulpit, I also led them in studies of The Baptist Faith and Message, Experiencing God, the book of Genesis, and "A Deacon Ministry that Works."
Building Projects : {while at FBC, McColl}
(1) I led the church in the planning and purchasing of new heating and air conditioning units [2 five ton units and 1 fifteen ton unit] to replace antiquated units in use. (2) I also led the church in raising the funds and in purchasing a new church sign to increase the outreach ministry of the church. (3) As a ministry of this church, I also led the church in rebuilding a disabled person's home.

During my last year at Southwestern Seminary, I served in a pastoral role to the residents of the Randol Mill Nursing Home. I visited them in their rooms and provided worship services on Sunday mornings. This ministry was sponsored and in conjunction with my ministry at Woods Chapel Baptist Church.

During my last year at Southwestern Seminary I served under Dr. David McQuitty as a ministerial intern at this church. I helped and assisted in leading Discipleship Training, Missions Activities, Leadership Planning and Assisted in Leading Worship.

Volunteer Staff Positions
Organizer and Leader, Deaf Ministry, Lake Arlington Baptist Church, Arlington, Tx, 1992 1994.
During this time, I organized and equipped those interested in starting a deaf ministry. The ministry objective was to reach out to the people in the Dallas Ft. Worth area who were unable to worship in a traditional setting because of a hearing impairment. The primary stage of this effort was accomplished by teaching people American Sign Language and providing interpretive services for those with a hearing impairment.

During this time, I led Sunday School for a group of children in the preschool department. This was done to promote the Christian growth of children at approximately 2 years of age.

During this time, I was in charge of the children's ministry associated with the mission church's efforts. I led and organized Sunday School for the children who attended the apartment ministries of this mission church.

assist in the many tasks of youth ministry.

While serving here I was able to work one on one with deaf children who needed to have
encouragement and acceptance.
