PHILOSOPHY OF MINISTRY

I believe my call as pastor is to care for the spiritual needs of the congregation through teaching, preaching, counseling, and living a godly example. Further, my task is to assist church members in discovering their individual gifts of ministry then encouraging and equipping church members to commit to use their gifts for ministry. I believe the appropriate priorital hierarchy for any pastor must be God first, family second, and church third.

PERSONAL DESIRES

I am committed to the family God has given me; therefore, I desire a place of service that will allow me to adequately provide for the financial, insurance, and time needs of my family. Salary and benefits must be at least comparable to my present situation and should be commensurate with my level of education. I also request time to spend with my family. Presently, we have retirement, family health, life, and dental coverage, and I have most evenings free (except Sundays and Wednesdays) with two days off per week of my choosing as well as paid vacation time.
